Currently, UploadWizard show a progress bar for each file that is being uploaded, even if you upload multiple ones at the same time. Instead, it should only show one progress bar for all files so that users can estimate how long it will take for the files to be uploaded (and go have a tea/coffee/another drink of their choice in the meantime). [This is a feature request reported to us by a WLM 2012 participant, and that's why I'm linking it to our huge tracking bug.]
I thought we had one progress bar for all the files, or are you talking about another thing. Can you clarify with a screenshot?
Well, I'm not seeing any progress bars anywhere (just the general AJAX loader icon in a circle), so I don't think I can help you here :-(
Okay, I get it now. I confused it with the progress bar that you see at the final step, after you enter all the details of the file.
The progress bar is visible again (there was a bug making it always hidden) and it's shared between uploads.

It still has issues where the progress display jumps around a bit, which is the subject of separate bugs that I'm going to address in the coming days/weeks. But I'm working on the whole thing, so improvements are coming!
