See https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Thread:Project:Support_desk/How_do_I_find_the_interlanguage_links%3F Where they point to this link that the search page offered in "Create this page": http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/How_do_I_find_the_interlanguage_links%3F_ondiscussionpage:Project:Support_desk prermalink: https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?oldid=681656
Sorry, I don't understand this bug.
So, when you go to https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Project:Support_desk there is a search bar labeled "Search Terms" available. Searching for "thispagedoesnotexist" there takes you to https://www.mediawiki.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Search&search=thispagedoesnotexist+ondiscussionpage%3AProject%3ASupport+desk&fulltext=1&ns90=1 It is on this search page that the bug exists. The page shows the message "(search-nonefound: thispagedoesnotexist ondiscussionpage:Project:Support desk) (searchmenu-new: Thispagedoesnotexist ondiscussionpage:Project:Support desk)" (added uselang=qqx for developer convenience). LQT should hook into the code that displays the searchmenu-new message to provide a proper link to start a new thread on that topic.
