At http://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Module:Wikibase 

I tried to use mw.wikibase.getEntity() with the sample from MediaWiki.org


A use at http://www.wikidata.org/wiki/Module_talk:Wikibase throws an error. The same seems to work at Wikipedia.

The Lua API is currently only part of the Wikibase Client extension that is not installed on wikidata.org See bug 47071
