Description Nemo 2013-04-28 19:15:34 UTC
On the new Special:UserLogin, the custom language selection bar stands out in all its weirdness and ugliness:

Lingua: Deutsch | English | Esperanto | français | español | italiano | Nederlands

UniversalLanguageSelector/ULS will allow us to kill it, in the meanwhile I doubt it's worth improving it.

Yeah, in the short term we did a little bit of restyling of the language selector, but it's still pretty ugly. Chucking it out in favor of ULS would be good for the state of the login page, though I would guess it's going to be a fairly long road still toward that happens everywhere.

I considered getting rid of altogether on login, since though it serves a clear purpose on account creation (it also sets your preference lang if you choose one) I'm not sure it does on login.
