Searching # follwed by anything causes The page to reload
*if it's the main searh bar it refreshes to the home page
*if it's the advanced search it causes it to reload to the advanced search page

This is not really bug because the browser interprets '#' as an anchor tag

As told here -> http://www.ietf.org/rfc/rfc2396.txt

"The character "#" is excluded because it is used to delimit a URI from a fragment identifier in URI references "

Ah, thanks. Well, input could be encoded to # in that case?
Comment 3 Rohan Rawat 2014-07-01 17:34:07 UTC
Same thing. But even Google interprets it as a # symbol
