The ircecho script at operations/debs/ircecho.git does not support nickserv registration. That prevents us from having our bots registered properly (bug 46252). Ideally we would want ircecho to read a configuration file instead of using command line arguments. That will let us put the password in a more or less secured place since we do not want to expose it on the command line.
