I need to use \dashrightarrow but it works only with javascript render but not with standard math render.

Where does this happen, on a Wikimedia wikisite or on a private wiki? Which MediaWiki software version?
Any chance to provide a minimal testcase?

Reading your description, I assume that you are aware of $wgUseMathJax mentioned in http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Math#MathJax .

Sure, please visit http://fr.wikipedia.org/wiki/Utilisateur:Lebd/test using the standard math render (error) and javascript in your preferences (ot works)

There are lots of commands that work only with MathJax, but not with texvc. The complete list is in bug 35481.
