Creation of and edits to course pages show up as Log events, rather than Contributions. This is confusing especially for users who have created a course page, and then after navigating away, are trying to find a link back to it. Edits to course pages should be treated like edits to regular wiki pages, in terms of how they show up in Special:Contributions. On a closely related note, a course talk page should be automatically added to a user's watchlist when they create the course page (as would happen when creating a regular page, with default preferences).
I split off the second enhancement to its own bug: https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=43713 This would indeed be good to have. Switching the extension over to use ContentHandler would get us this enhanced integration. That's not a trivial amount of work though.
Does someone have an estimation as to if and when this will happen? We started to use this extension on he.wiki and our users are crying loud on this.
Tomer, changing the edits to show up in contributions rather than logs depends on the switch to ContentHandler, which Jeroen is working on. We hope to have most of the ContentHandler-related issues finished up by around August, if all goes well.
