The UploadWizard Flickr should format source and author output using templates {{Flickr source}} [1] and {{Flickr author}} [2] (just like the Flickr Upload Bot does). (This notably gives a short and clear source, and hyperlinks the author). I think {{Information}} template name is hardcoded into UploadWizard, isn’t it?
Anyone got bright ideas on how to tackle the issue that these flickr templates are supposed to be subst: ? Because that doesn't really make sense from MediaWiki messages, which really is the preferred way in which I would see these messages handled.
I've just been made aware that {{flickr author}} is not used by the community and SHOULD not be used... sigh.

Correction, it seems we were thrown of course by the fact that the template has recently been changed to make use of an interwiki link instead of an external link, which caused a mismatch between test environment and community expectations. It should be just fine after all.
Nischay: This issue has been assigned to you a while ago. Could you please provide a status update and inform us whether you are still working (or still plan to work) on this issue?
