Signup to labsconsole is not possible. Error message:

Login error
There was either an authentication database error or you are not allowed to update your external account.

Works fine here (Firefox 17.0.1, Fedora 16, located in Europe) for https://labsconsole.wikimedia.org/ - I just logged in (and I wasn't logged in before), with Domain=labs and "remember me".

You tested the login. It is not possible to create account.

MediaWiki sucks in some ways. It's not possible to report errors from auth plugins. Most likely you are using a bad shell account name.

I created Test User2 yesterday...

I've also added some text to the account creation page that lists shell account name restrictions.

Signup still not works for me with the user data of my request:
