It seems that if you create an article with the full stop character at the end of the name, when you click to edit the page it directs you to edit the page without the full stop. Example: Article Name: "This is a sentence." Click Edit and you will be editing: "This is a sentence" If you want to edit the article with the period at the end, you must click edit, be taken to: http://www.example.com/wiki/index.php?title=This_is_sentence&action=edit then you must manually add the period and reload the page: http://www.example.com/wiki/index.php?title=This_is_sentence.&action=edit Honestly, it is in poor form to put a period at the end of an article name anyways, but there will always be people that do...
We should probably block the period character from titles. I can't think of a good reason to allow it, for starters...
