* Click into VE on https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Thehelpfulone/test
* Click cursor into one of the many LI slugs of the multiply-indented list.
* Type some contents into the slug
* Press "left"; suddenly, the cursor is back at 0,0
* Click into the ultimate LI with "real" content (not the one just created) and outdent repeatedly; you will over-write the new LI as if it wasn't there (indeed, it never reaches the DM).

This may be similar to other slug bugs, given the core issue. :-)

@James: Are you still able to reproduce it?

Also, I wonder if it is correct behavior that if you have completely empty by multiply-indented list and you press backspace in the deepest li - it delete entire list. Check out this video: https://dl.dropboxusercontent.com/u/1026938/multiplyindented.mov

No; partially invalid because we no longer show lots of distinct slugged LIs for lists. :-)

This feels a bit wrong, yeah; maybe just decrease by one?
