The new Wikivoyage wikis have an empty search index. This needs to be fixed (not a blocker for launch).

The index is indeed operational now, although updates don't seem to occur yet. This actually appears to be a wider problem on the cluster right now.

Even so, let's keep this bug open until we've confirmed incremental search updates on WV are working.

Index updates still seem to be broken on Wikivoyage. Checking by visiting http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Special:NewPages and searching for recently created pages. E.g. "Finland Proper" was created on 11/10 but does not show up as search suggestion.

Actually it looks like the indexing on other sites has been broken again for a few days, as well - see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wikipedia:Village_pump_(technical)#Search_list_not_updating

Peter and I committed yesterday https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/36101/ and we confirmed today that it indeed solves the problem.
