Description Thehelpfulone 2012-11-10 01:10:22 UTC
http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Main_Page - interwiki links to wts: general: and tech: need removing.

---------------------------------------------

http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Sitenotice - the meta link there would be nicer as a protocol relative link or even better a wiklink:

[https://meta.wikimedia.org/wiki/Travel_Guide/Logo Vote on the logo]

becomes

[[m:Travel Guide/Logo|Vote on the new logo]]

---------------------------------------------------

There's a wts: link at the top of the recent changes message at http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Special:RecentChanges. You can edit http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Recentchangestext and remove "[[wts:Special:Recentchanges]]" to fix this one

---------------------------------------------------

There needs to be an explanation somewhere of what User:WMF_Import is and what it has done. Strangely enough MediaWiki seems to be treating it as an IP address instead of a user account if you look at http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Special:Contributions/WMF_Import there is no red link for the user page and in the protection log, http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Special:Log/protect their username links to their Special:Contributions/WMF_Import instead of their user page, something we only do for IPs.

-------------------------------------------------

http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Wikivoyage:General_disclaimer should have links to the gen: and tech: disclaimer removed. Please also capitalise the U in "Terms of use". On that note, at the bottom of every page is the "See Terms of use for details." please capitalise that U too!

-------------------------------------------------

Oh and can you also adjust the disclaimer link in the footers of each page from http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Wikivoyage:General_disclaimer directly to http://en.wikivoyage.org/wiki/Wikivoyage:Disclaimer please, cut out the unnecessary redirect. :)

Updated redirect too.

For the capital U in Terms of Use, legal gave it to me with a lowercase, so I'm going to leave it as is for now.

Hopefully the interwiki links will disappear when we get the cache rebuilt.

If you look at the bottom of the English Wikipedia, the Terms of Use is capitalised and the actual Terms of Use page on wikimediafoundation.org is also capitalised, https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Terms_of_Use so I think it was probably just an oversight, given that https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Terms_of_use (which is what is linked) redirects to https://wikimediafoundation.org/wiki/Terms_of_Use anyways.

These are bug summaries that don't attract anybody to take a look. ;)

What's left for fixing here exactly?
