Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Page move display error (430.44 KB, image/png)
2013-08-09 12:28 UTC, Nemo

Description magog.the.ogre 2012-10-29 01:08:10 UTC
Upon moving a file with a $ in it, I got the following text in the HTML: The error is easier to see in the WYSIWYG:

As you can see the "$2" is not being properly escaped in the PHP. I looked at and I do not believe the error is in that page (i.e., it is not a local error due to lousy template coding on Wikipedia)

"We're sorry, we cannot find the page you requested.
Please check the URL for correct spelling and capitalization."

Could you please attach screenshots here in Bugzilla, so they don't get lost? Thanks in advance!

Comment 4 Nemo 2013-08-09 12:54:47 UTC has some 2 KB of custom wikitext, have you tested this on a wiki with the default message?
