Upon moving a file with a $ in it, I got the following text in the HTML: http://pastebin.com/fkjXnJn9. The error is easier to see in the WYSIWYG: http://s1130.beta.photobucket.com/user/magog3/media/pagemovedisplayerror.png.html. As you can see the "$2" is not being properly escaped in the PHP. I looked at https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Movepage-moved&action=edit and I do not believe the error is in that page (i.e., it is not a local error due to lousy template coding on Wikipedia)

"We're sorry, we cannot find the page you requested. Please check the URL for correct spelling and capitalization." Could you please attach screenshots here in Bugzilla, so they don't get lost? Thanks in advance!
odd... after signing in, now it's showing up for me even on my browser where I didn't sign in. Anyway, try this direct link: http://i1130.photobucket.com/albums/m524/magog3/pagemovedisplayerror.png
Created attachment 13080 [details] Page move display error Again, please attach your files on bugzilla.
https://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=MediaWiki:Movepage-moved&action=edit&oldid=515044813 has some 2 KB of custom wikitext, have you tested this on a wiki with the default message?
