The output of MediaWiki's info action should include an entry with the number of transclusions the page has, if it has more than zero.
Why have a transclusion count when you can have a transclusion list? ;) https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/31504
(In reply to comment #1) > https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/31504 got merged. MZMcBride: Any comments on comment 1?
(In reply to comment #2) > MZMcBride: Any comments on comment 1? It's unclear to me currently what <https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/31504> did. Is there a live demo anywhere? I tried <https://translatewiki.net/w/i.php?title=Main_Page&action=info> but that doesn't seem to work.
If you look under the Page properties section, you'll see "Transcluded template". Here is a better example: http://amy.whizkidztech.com/wiki/index.php/Main_Page?action=info
Awesome, so it includes both the count and a (partial) listing. This is great, thank you! I'm marking this bug as resolved/fixed.
