The local community is conducting an outreach event at Delhi on Oct 17th. This will include an intro wikipedia, an editing workshop and hands-on basic editing. We are expecting about 50 people to attend. One of the things we'd like to do is encourage potential newbie participants to create their own usernames during the session and learn editing by trying something similar there and then. Is there a way of removing the 7 username in a 6 hour period for the following IP address for 124.124.192.18 for the duration of the workshop (Oct 17th between 0530 - 1130 UTC.) (Workshop is for 3 hours but I'm requesting 6 hours just in case we are over time or someone stays back to edit.) Thanks!
Taking this bug. [ Note about delay to deploy configuration changes ] Site configuration deployment could some times be delayed to regroup requests in one operation. In the future, please make this kind of requests 8 days before the event to ensure the change can be applied in a timely fashion in the usual continuous operations process.
By the way, on what wikis should we remove the limit?
