Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Andre Engels 2004-08-14 09:59:03 UTC
A {{{Template parameter}}} is added as a (broken) link to [[Template:Template
parameter]] in the links list. If the same parameter is used often, a Template
therefore shows up in [[Special:Wantedpages]] without actually being used.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 80 ***
Comment 2 Andre Engels 2004-09-16 08:26:24 UTC
The fact that this is described as a duplicate of 80 makes clear to me that it
is not understood what I'm saying here. What I mean is:

Suppose Template:Blabla has as its content:
This page is just some blabla about {{{subject}}}

Then the links table will state that Template:Blabla links to Template:Subject.

And if there are many of this kind of page, Template:Subject will appear on the
'most wanted pages' list, even though it is used nowhere at all.

Fixed in HEAD, not in REL1_3
Comment 6 Wil Mahan 2004-09-25 05:18:05 UTC
This wasn't fixed in HEAD, but it should be now.
