Description Bartosz Dziewoński 2012-09-28 17:58:10 UTC
Why would anyone disable it? It's just user interface cruft.

This seems like a simple fix, but maybe it has some deep meaning I'm not aware of. If it could be removed without much pain, do tell me and I will do it.

Petr, do you have a response on this? Right now it looks like this is the only item blocking bug 32128.
Comment 2 Andre Klapper 2012-10-24 03:55:45 UTC
Petr, could you answer comment 2?
Comment 3 John Mark Vandenberg 2014-07-16 06:57:24 UTC
The pref (OnlineStatusBar_autoupdate) is still in this extension. I can't see why it would be useful, and cant see any deep purpose behind it in the code. User pages arnt edited enough that it is useful to wait for another write.

Should we put up a patch to remove it?
