An admin/interface editor should deal with the changing of group names by editing https://es.wiktionary.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Group-autopatrolled and https://es.wiktionary.org/wiki/MediaWiki:Group-patroller.

Please wait Hashar feedback before implementing icon change.

He recently had to take a decision about where to store .ico favicon files.

We want to serve favicon from the bits.wikimedia.org domain. So they should be uploaded to operations/mediawiki-config in the docroot/bits/favicon directory created by https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/23077/ . The wgFavicon setting need to be updated as well.

Logo can be managed on-site. Please upload your new logo to [[wikt:es:File:Wiki.png]].

Seems the only thing left to do is favicon.

But, every Wiktionary is using Wikipedia favicon now. Should we do a mass update?

This would be indeed more useful for you, especially to upload temporary special logos.

If you don't wish that and really prefer to use Commons, your config change is ready. Gerrit change #23652

I find the proposed logo to be very horrible. What about using the "piece" icon already used on several wiktionaries?

arghhh we should have opened one bug per request :-]   Anyway the new logo (Gerrit change #23652) has been deployed on the live site :-)

The logo change I prepared some days ago has been merged by Hashar. It will be deployed quickly (some days at the most).

The groups have successfully been renamed on wiki ([[es:wikt:MediaWiki:Group-autopatrolled]] and [[es:wikt:MediaWiki:Group-patroller) by Cvmontuy.

More feedback is needed about the icon, per comment 22 and comment 23.

Dereckson, Yes, Http://es.wiktionary.org/wiki/Wikcionario:Votaciones/2012/Logotipo look for more information. It also elected the favicon.
