The goal is to give a simple special pages which could contains the content of
meta:List of Wikipedias and me more complicated and hard to maintain page
(meta:List of Wikipedias by language family, meta:Wikimedia_News#Wikipedias)

Isn't Special:Sitematrix + Special:Statistics what you want?

I'm not sure it's a big idea to mark all open bugs as resolved worksforme
without explanations....

Well, an explanation was implied in comment 1. We have [[Special:SiteMatrix]]
and [[Special:Statistics]].
