Please add add Extension:Asirra to Bugzilla. Default assignee could probably be the maintainer de:User:Bachsau, whom I asked on his talk page to voice his consent or gievances here. When done, please move bug 38597 to the correct place. See also: https://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Extension:Asirra https://de.wikipedia.org/wiki/Benutzer_Diskussion:Bachsau
I'll await a response from Bachsau before creating this component, are there any other developers that can work on this code? From what I'm aware, we prefer to keep the default assignee to the Wikibugs-l@ mailing list and then add relevant user(s) to the default CC so that they would actually be able to assign themselves to a bug so others know they are working on fixing it.
Extension:Asirra is still in beta, and there's still much I want to improve before I consider it to be ready for contributions from others. I don't know if it makes sense to create a bugzilla object until final version of Extension:Asirra is released, as noone except for me will be able to fix them. The final version will be added to GIT and maybe merged with Extension:ConfirmEdit for everyone to improve. Besides that I'm always to open to suggestions and translations. Please be aware that someone already forked my Extension and merged it with ConfirmEdit. bug 38597 seems to belong to that version. I don't know about the changes and won't review them before final. I don't support the ConfirmEdit version, I don't endorse it and rather would like to see it removed from ConfirmEdit until my work is done. However, I can't request that, as I released the code into public domain.
So I change my request. Please add Extension:ConfirmEdit-Asirra to Bugzilla, if it is a component on its own. In translateWiki.net, it is. Possibly, the default CC be should be identical to Extension:ConfirmEdit. If there is no extra component Extension:ConfirmEdit-Asirra, this bug is invalid, and bug 38597 should be reopened against Extension:ConfirmEdit. Thank you.
fixed summary, to reflect new request.
Reopened 38597, closing this as the mentioned extension is not in Git.
