Description Dan Jacobson 2012-07-05 10:41:44 UTC
Can there be an option added to Special:NewPages to get rid of the
"(Created page with ...) comments. They ruin the whole item per line
format of Special:NewPages!

Please make this new option
1) A checkbox, AND
2) An option that can be linked via [[Special:NewPages| ...]] or [[Special:NewPages{{...|...}}]] AND
3) externally via http://...Special:NewPages&...=...

THANK YOU

Why do you want the edit summaries removed, They provide context to the page
creatation…
Comment 2 p858snake 2012-07-05 10:46:25 UTC
And this a duplicate bug of one of your own. If you disagree with the other one being closed, Reopen it, There is no need to create a new bug about the same thing.

*** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 25282 ***
Comment 3 Dan Jacobson 2012-07-05 10:48:52 UTC
I just want the list, without the obligatory comments.
Do you force the obligatory comments on any other list of pages?
Why must they be forced down our throats without any way to switch them off
other than adding extensions?!

They won't reopen that one either.
Comment 4 Dan Jacobson 2012-07-05 10:52:00 UTC
OK, I'll reopen it, as you said.
