So far the namepaces available to be searched are arranged like this: [ ] Main [ ] Talk [ ] User [ ] User talk ... In the meantime it is not very rare that installations offer 22 or more different namespaces to choose from. Thus one has to scroll in most cases to be able to see and select. Why not rearrange the display like, e.g.: [ ] Main / [ ] Talk [ ] User / [ ] User talk ... This would cut the needed lines by half and thus increase usability. Additionally the close relation between namespace and corresponding talk namespace would become more obvious for starters too.

Rather than rearrange the namespace checkboxes, I think we should rethink the "Advanced options" section of the "Search" user preference tab: bug 52817.

After thinking about this I'm not really happy with the solution. Let's merge this into MZMcBride's bug. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of bug 52817 ***
