Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description Sumana Harihareswara 2012-05-14 22:38:05 UTC
Just now I tried to block two IP address users on mediawiki.org. In both cases I got this error:

Database error

A database query syntax error has occurred. This may indicate a bug in the software. The last attempted database query was:

    (SQL query hidden)

from within function "Block::insert". Database returned error "1054: Unknown column 'ipb_parent_block_id' in 'field list' (10.0.6.49)".

I tried to block each user for reason: Vandalism and period: Indefinite.

IRC folks believe a cause was this revision: https://gerrit.wikimedia.org/r/#/c/3841/ by coren. Assigning to coren to fix; feel free to change if that's not right.
