When a section "== [[:]] ==" is edited, the extracted section name (in edit summary and post-edit redirect) is ":" while the section name used to generate <hX> id is "[[:]]" (anchor name is .5B.5B:.5D.5D).

This is probably a dupe of bug 18431 and likely related to bug 54044.

Not related to bug 54044, because Linker is using a regex, which does not follow title rules and that means, this is not recognized as invalid wikilink which should be shown as plain. Therefore the [[]] is stripped.
