At the URL from above I tested [[Image:Australian aboriginal flag.png|frame|Interlanguage link to [[eo:Auxstralio]], see also [[bugzilla:00648]]]] and [[Image:Australian aboriginal flag.png|frame|Category link to [[Category:Bugzilla]], see also [[bugzilla:00648]]]] As *you* may expect a interlanguage link and a category membership is generated. However it might be a good idea to generate *inline* links istead of interlanguage links or category membership inside a caption as this (caption) would not be the most apropriate place to define these. What happens now is expected behaviour and not a bug. However changing it might be a minor *help* for newbies. Best regards Reinhardt [[user:gangleri]]
Special-casing these kinds of things is inconsistent and I'm not convinced it would be a benefit to anyone; for instance the behavior of the text would be different when you move the text from a caption to outside, which would be odd.
