Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description lɛʁi לערי ריינהארט 2005-10-05 09:12:15 UTC

At the URL from above I tested
[[Image:Australian aboriginal flag.png|frame|Interlanguage link to
[[eo:Auxstralio]], see also [[bugzilla:00648]]]]

[[Image:Australian aboriginal flag.png|frame|Category link to
[[Category:Bugzilla]], see also [[bugzilla:00648]]]]

As *you* may expect a interlanguage link and a category membership is generated.
However it might be a good idea to generate *inline* links istead of
interlanguage links or category membership inside a caption as this (caption)
would not be the most apropriate place to define these.

What happens now is expected behaviour and not a bug. However changing it might
be a minor *help* for newbies.

Special-casing these kinds of things is inconsistent and I'm not convinced it would
be a benefit to anyone; for instance the behavior of the text would be different
when you move the text from a caption to outside, which would be odd.
