Description reza1615 2012-03-29 09:44:25 UTC
would you please edit Calendar form labels from Arabic charters to Farsi
characters?
1-ي==>ی
2-قبلي==>قبلی
3-بعدي==>بعدی

Changed the title, because it affects not only UploadWizard.
Comment 2 Amir E. Aharoni 2012-03-29 09:51:54 UTC
These strings appear in resources/jquery.ui/i18n/jquery.ui.datepicker-fa.js .

Krinkle, is this localization specific to MediaWiki or can this be fixed upstream in jQuery?

Updated. I understand that 'ش' is 'shenbe', but what could 'ق' stand for?

Also, i'm not sure that the Persians month names will actually be used, because it seems that they are not completely implemented.

Comment 9 Amir E. Aharoni 2012-03-29 12:09:40 UTC
I changed ق to ش in Github. It still has to be reviewed and merged.

I may change the month names later. They do not seem to be used in MediaWiki anyway.

Fix applied upstream: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-ui/commit/a51451dc1b19bf6c2e10b1648b57d006bf38c303

(For the record, also discussed here: https://github.com/jquery/jquery-ui/pull/620 .)
