We use the Wiki to share informations between all collegues. Our problem is,
that everyone "is on the road" week by week.
At the moment, we do a database dump nearly every week and install these dumps
on each Laptop.

The biggest problem is, that in this scenario the informations entered during
the week in the "laptop wiki" is lost. So some of my collegues uses a second,
separated wiki just for them.
But this is the contrary of what a wiki stands for: sharing of information is
more and more lost because the "main" wiki is not filled anymore.
That is the reason why we like to have a "synch" function to synchronize all
wikis with the "main" wiki based in the office.

Sounds like a good candidate for an extension, not something for MW core.

There is WikiSync and I believe another extension at least that will do this
