Please add a variable in en.wikipedia named, e.g., {{CURRENTTIME2}} 
that will give current UTC time without seconds (only hh:mm). Time 
without seconds (truncated to the current minute) is needed for certain 
applications in which the exact second is irrelevant.

We urgently need time without seconds for certain uses in which listing 
the exact second doesn't make sense and is wrong, such as in a 
four-tilde signature nickname or in normal "verbal" time-telling for written 
text. Please see above request.
