At this time the portuguese edition of Wikipedia has started to create portals, and is now using the project namespace to store those same portals. I would like to ask the creation of a portal namespace for WP:PT, like the one that WP:EN has. The name of the namespace should be... portal :) (Portal is the same in portuguese, brazilian portuguese, and english) Best regards and thank you for your time,

No, at least it makes clear what the request now is. I left instructions on that bug to make a specific request, and that's what we have; this is the bug that the developers ought to concentrate on. I'll close the other bug as a duplicate of this.

I'll reopen bug 1676, because 1) it isn't specific on a certain wiki, but general one - to add new namespaces to every wiki 2) I am afraid this request is closed after WP:PT issue solves
Specific wikis will need to request this namespace. Not all of them will want it.
Only the Wikipedia project should make use of this namespace, and so, the portal namespace should only be configured by request of a wikipedia edition, or, configured to all WP editions. Best regards,
