Using Wikipedia android app (RC1, Motrola Droid, Android 2.2.3), when I type "bananas" into the search box but click "bananas in pyjamas", I am taken to the "Bananas in Pyjamas" article, yet "bananas" remains in the search box. Because the search box is so prominent at the top of the page, it almost looks like a title bar so it's rather confusing. This same behavior happens if you follow links from within an article (eg clicking the 'Australia' link in the 'Bananas in Pyjamas' article).

Not a duplicate. I was talking about the on-screen keyboard remaining visible after search.
(In reply to comment #2) > Not a duplicate. I was talking about the on-screen keyboard remaining visible > after search. Ok, but I think one would solve the other.

I think this is a blocker. Any objections?
Looks like its already marked as s blocker. If you want to change its importance then make sure to line it up with http://www.mediawiki.org/wiki/Bug_management/Bugzilla_usage
Already been fixed - on navigation, the search term is now cleared.
I'm split on this. I could see pro/cons to both keeping the input box updating it or just clearing it
