Possibility of Narayam being embedded based on uselang attribute needs to be explored. Background for the requirement, the Tamil media contest needs Narayam on commons if the tamil interface is chosen for upload. Siebrand and myself were talking about need for doing a risk assessment / feasibility at Hackathon, but missed out doing it.

Works like this already. A user must enable an input method, though, as we shouldn't enable one by default. From there on, at this time, a cookie takes care of the rest for the next 30 days.

I've asked Niklas to enable, and I think this will happen in the next 8 hours.

Great! but i guess Narayam on commons has to be enabled in first place which is what you were mentioning Niklas would be doing. On the default input method, Phonetic is set as default for Tamil on all Tamil wiki projects, which could be set here too.
