Split from bug 23721, the "deleted only" checkbox displays on page histories and Special:Contributions even if there are no deleted revisions.

For what it's worth, I'm not sure that the additional code complexity is worth it here.

This would require an annoying query on every history view. We don't have a page,rev_deleted INDEX.

The namespace filter on Special:Contributions and other special pages gives all namespace to filter for, even though the user has not made edits in that namespace.

Support WONTFIX.
