Right now we redo the search every time someone hits near by. This is silly when the phone hasn't actually changed locations.

note that search has to be manual the second time you launch the nearby item using the "redo search in this area button"

Oh and here is a link to test the Map stuff because you won't be able to see the tiles if you build it

'fixed' in https://github.com/wikimedia/WikipediaMobile/pull/88. Currently it just restores the view as it was before you backed out of the Activity.
