This seems like a regression as I used to be able to use the hardware back button to navigate backwards in the app.

should be fixed.

the regression was due to various changes being made for https://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=31461

Still seeing this happen when I test on a Nexus One.

Ditto, with bug 31461 it's slightly annoying
