Is there a page or standard blurb that should be used for the about and the how to contribute?

This seems like the best "about" page for now http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Wikipedia:About&useformat=mobile. We don't have a mobile contribution page because you can't contribute on mobile devices yet :(

-added a command to load the about page in the menu.
-also modified the click  handler for the W icon so that it returns the user to the Wikipedia main page.

As a user I'd tend to expect the app's "About" menu item to bring up information about the app itself...

Mmm. Me too

Having an "About {{sitename}}" wouldn't be a bad idea (ie what's been done here) as an extra
