Description VictorPorton 2011-06-26 13:27:57 UTC
I had two users, "VictorPorton" (admin) and "Victor Porton" (a normal user). I used Renameuser extension to rename "VictorPorton" to "Admin".

When I did this the user "Victor Porton" disappeared. (I created it again latter.)

The bug is that "Victor Porton" disappeared.

also mistakenly says there are no links to "Tanakh:Genesis 1:1".

"TanakhIndex:Genesis" indeed links to "Tanakh:Genesis 1:1". Both "TanakhIndex:Genesis" and "Tanakh:Genesis 1:1" were created by maintenance/edit.php script.

I suspect there is some mis-configuration on your end, but until that is confirmed, raising priority.

Is this on a Wikimedia wiki?

Ugh ... only raise priority when misconfiguration is confirmed to be not an issue. Not before. Someone should poke into this some more. I might later.

Removed from tracking bug, as that's for WMF related issues
