The emails I receive from MediaZilla recently started including incorrect links, with extra characters (usually "3D", I think) inserted before the bug ID. Example from today: > From: bugzilla-daemon@mail.wikimedia.org > To: artslave @ usa.net > Subject: [Bug 181] Assign lasting ID to latest revision of articles > > http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D181
They're fine here. What's your mail client?
(In reply to comment #1) > They're fine here. What's your mail client? USA.NET is a web-based email that forwards to my ISP email, which I retrieve in Eudora 6.1.2 -- have not seen this problem in any other email from any other source. This started just a few weeks ago; before that I had gotten emails from MediaZilla that worked fine. > From: bugzilla-daemon@mail.wikimedia.org > To: artslave @ usa.net > Subject: [Bug 2886] MediaZilla emails use incorrect link > > http://bugzilla.wikimedia.org/show_bug.cgi?id=3D2886
Did it start on July 2? (resolution of bug 609) It's possible the encoding isn't quite right and something else needs to be changed to keep text from being munged.
(In reply to comment #3) > Did it start on July 2? (resolution of bug 609) I haven't kept every MediaZilla email, but yes, going by what's still in my mailbox, sometime between June 28 and July 3. Thanks for your attention to this by the way, it's just a minor thing.
Also on July 2: MediaZilla was moved, and subsequent changes were made for bug 2666 ("From:" address).
Seems to be working now.
