Say I wanted to know or check what or how many files a certain sysop has deleted, so I add a param ns=6 to the url in order to filter the deletion log. It'd create something like

http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:Log&type=delete&limit=500&user=Sysop&ns=6

in order to list the number of deletions of pages in the file namespace.

Namespace filter (for each log type) looks to expensive.
