After an image is uploaded via the UploadWizard, it attempts to use ImageMagick to create a thumbnail. If the wiki is not configured to use ImageMagick, it just spins forever. There are two possible solutions: 1. Skip thumbnail creation if ImageMagick is not available. 2. Display an error message to the user. Since the UploadWizard is designed with the use of thumbnails in mind, the second option would probably be better.

Works for me on trunk; GD scaling seems to work fine, as does disabling server-side scaling altogether by setting $wgUseImageResize = false.
