Currently, CTF popup comes up when you hover over every line of translated text. User has to close each popup separately. Here are the suggested changes: 1. CTF is disabled by default. 2. Provide a link/button to enable CTF. 3. When user decided to invoke CTF, it should show a message to the user "This will contribute your content towards Microsoft commercial products. Do you want to continue?" and provide the user to accept the CTF TOU. 4. If the user declines, CTF is disabled till the user explicitly enables it. 5. User should also have a way to disable the CTF through another means at any time.
we have provided a way to the end user to enable/disable the CTF popup during a running WikiBhasha session. we added 'disable translation popup' check-box adjacent to the 'show wikiformat' check-box. on selecting the check-box the CTF popup will not appear for the running session. on un-checking the check-box will bring back the CTF popup.
We are reopening this bug, based on the feedback from Tamil Wikipedia (??), regarding the default state of CTF pop-up. Earlier, this bug was closed with an addition of the CTF pop-up toggle switch with which users could enable or disable the pop-up. the default was left as "enabled" to ensure that the feature is noticed by the users. We will reopen this bug so that different points of views may be heard; this may be closed by disabling the feature, if the request is consistent from other Wikipedias.
