Many Wikipedia language editions use specific fonts to display their text because default system ones do not have the characters of that languages. This is a major problem of many Cyrillic and South East Asian Wikipedias. Now they have to provide a links to a separate web-cites, which sometimes may come 404'd. I suggest to enable uploading font files (*.woff, *.ttf, *.otf). It will help to easily provide the needed fonts to user and make possible to use @font-face option of CSS in latest releases of common web browsers.
