Compare Wikipedia’s rendering of this SVG file:

Of course, the expected behaviour is for the letters to not overlop, not run off the edge of the picture, and not be this bold.

the elements have the styling of the parent <text> element instead of the child <tspan> elements. This is a bug in librsvg

Resolving as a duplicate of identical bug #23574. The workaround listed there is the correct one for Wikimedia sites. Feel free to rv if you see a difference :)
