The editor user group was created as an artifact of the enabling of flagged revs, and several users were autoassigned to it (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:ListUsers&group=editor). The configuration was then changed to remove the group, and it is now unused; however the users who were autoassigned to the group are still in it. Please remove these users from the editor usergroup.
How is this shell? This is somethign for an admin on en.wiki to do is it not? I am closing this as 'wontfix' as its not something I would do. If I am incorrect, and the admins on enwiki are unable to do this, please just reopen the ticket and comment it as such.
If the right isn't configured to be removable, I'm not sure local Sysops/Bcrats *can* handle it.

I don't think so. (at least it isn't in the default config afaik). My reading of this bug is that there used to be an 'editor' group, the editor group was removed, but there are still lingering entries in the user_group table that need to be removed manually.
Done.
