As mentioned at [[mw:Special:Code/MediaWiki/67281#c7412]], it seems interesting to highlight at least the interwiki corresponding to the language of homewiki when a user has global account.

no they can't, homewiki isn't really used for anything anyway.

And it isn't because it's meaningless. I don't see how this could be done in core given that home wiki is a concept from CentralAuth extension, anyway the implementation being developed now is bug 64793 which is based on what languages people actually speak.
