Reporting against Babaco Release : r64562
Tested link :http://prototype.wikimedia.org/deployment-en/Main_Page

Steps to Reproduce ::

Point: Anonymous users have the Vector skin, toolbar and dialogs, and can view the "New" link and it's page explaining what has changed.

Clear all cache and open prototype site
<<“New” is not there. But “Try Beta” link is shown.>>

Click on Login link.
<<There you can see the “New” link>>

Expected Outcome::
New link should be there in the main page as well.

Test Environment::
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 6.1; en-US; rv:1.9.1.8) Gecko/20100202 Firefox/3.5.8

Works fine for me. Purged the file cache on all prototype wikis for paranoia.
Comment 2 Calcey QA 2010-04-07 11:32:12 UTC
Checked in all environments but still I do not get the vector skin or the New link in the landing page. Still the layout is in monobook.

Ah, *anonymous* users, missed that, sorry. Anons now also get Vector on the deployment prototypes.

Yes I know. But for me the anonymous users do not get the Vector skin.

Please refer the attachment.

Which wiki was this tested on and when? I fixed the settings on the deployment prototypes just five minutes ago.

This was the case from Monday [The day I started to check the app]. I cleared all cache and checked now also and the result is the same.

Checked on http://prototype.wikimedia.org/deployment-en/Main_Page
Comment 8 Roan Kattouw 2010-04-07 12:03:52 UTC
Apparently it was just the main page being off, the rest of the pages were fixed. Should be fixed now.
Comment 9 Calcey QA 2010-04-08 06:05:07 UTC
Great. Now its working. Just another question. Even before we switch to New features the editor display the new tool bar. This is also not correct right?
Comment 10 Roan Kattouw 2010-04-08 21:41:53 UTC
Vector and the new toolbar are enabled by default. Clicking on New! leads to a page explaining the new features and offering to turn them off.
Comment 11 Calcey QA 2010-05-19 06:32:28 UTC
This being solved
