Wikimedia Bugzilla is closed!

Wikimedia has migrated from Bugzilla to Phabricator. Bug reports should be created and updated in Wikimedia Phabricator instead. Please create an account in Phabricator and add your Bugzilla email address to it.
Wikimedia Bugzilla is read-only. If you try to edit or create any bug report in Bugzilla you will be shown an intentional error message.
In order to access the Phabricator task corresponding to a Bugzilla report, just remove "static-" from its URL.
You could still run searches in Bugzilla or access your list of votes but bug reports will obviously not be up-to-date in Bugzilla.

Description DaSch 2010-02-08 10:47:14 UTC
Transwiki Import is not working anymore. I use the newest SVN Version and since two ore three day, Transwiki Import does not work anymore. I always get this error:

Import fehlgeschlagen: Fehler beim XML-Import: Zeile 1, Spalte 1, (Byte 0; ""): Invalid document end
Comment 1 Chad H. 2010-02-08 11:35:57 UTC
Works for me using r62123, downgrading severity.

Which article were you trying to import? From which wiki?
Comment 2 DaSch 2010-02-08 11:50:37 UTC
this articles I tryed to import, both failed

BTW: normal import works, only transwiki import fails
Comment 3 Chad H. 2010-02-08 12:06:26 UTC
Was able to set up interwikis for both of those wikis and import those two articles (with full history and templates). Still worksforme.
Comment 4 DaSch 2010-02-08 12:51:27 UTC
was anything changed with transwiki import in the last time? I tryed disabeling extensions, changing the allow interwikis for import, everything I thought that could effect the import, I checked directory permissions, but it still fails
Comment 5 DaSch 2010-02-08 13:49:31 UTC
disabeling Cache does not help
php maintainaince/update.php does not help
php maintenance/clear_interwiki_cache.php does not help
Comment 6 DaSch 2010-02-09 11:57:58 UTC
Updated to the newest SVN Version, now the error has changed to
Import fehlgeschlagen: Importdatei konnte nicht geöffnet werden
Comment 7 DaSch 2010-02-09 12:37:01 UTC
When having DebugMode on this are the last lines I get

# ImportStreamSource::newFromURL: opening
# HTTP: POST: SkinCavendish not found; skipped loading
Comment 8 DaSch 2010-02-10 15:08:26 UTC
well, I'm still testing.
upload_by_url works, so there should be no problem with getting content from external pages

I replaced

with a clean version from SVN

the problem still remains, I've no idea what's the reason for this error. Please help, any ideas?
