The docs say: "Like: The comparator ~ works only for properties of Type:String and ... ", however I found if the string property is qualified with one or more 'Allows value' special properties the query fails. I'm seeing the following error with this code: {{#ask: [[Technology::~*454*]]}} :"*454*" is not in the list of possible values (Roche 454, Sanger, Illumina Solexa, Tool X, Tool Y, OPA, WGP, DaRT) for this property. If I remove the 'Allows value' clauses from this property, the query works fine, returning pages with values of the Technology property 'like' 454.
Any news on the status of this bug? It's been open for almost four years now. I filed bug 53589 a couple of days ago. I just noticed it is a duplicate of this bug.
