In the page http://translatewiki.net/wiki/Support there are now additional lined under each contribution showing links to user pages and gray dates and times. These lines aer superfluous. Users can and do "sign" their contributions with "--~~~~" at the end of their last lines. There is no need to wast additional lines, only adding to screen clutter.
The concept of Lqt was designed so that signing is no longer needed (it saves you keystrokes (5) or mouse clicks (1). The date is a localised date, which is not possible with a "4 tildes" signing. All in all an improvement. One thing I may agree upon with you: the 'grey' text could get a heavier style. Suggesting to close this report as invalid/wfm and/or fix the date style.

I've darkened the timestamp in r59589.
Software acting different in identical situations is always a step backwards in usability. There is no need to confuse people having to "sign" here and not having to "sign" elsewhere. Casual users will hardly remember what to do where. Massive users will be used to adding their "signatures" practically automatically. Neither of those is being helped by differing behavior.
That's a different issue. It is definitely an advantage that users do not have to sign in LiquidThreads. It is useful that a subtle warning is given when a user does attempt to sign a discussion page. If you have specific other suggestions, I would like to hear them.
